Financial donations from supporters dictates the amount of area planted and ultimate success of this project! The success of Trees for Global Renewal is dependent upon the donations received from responsible Canadians and peoples from other nations. Environmentally discerning and socially responsible citizens will, through this project, be able to improve an environmental wrong, deforestation, and provide support for the underprivileged. This support provides for some immediate needs and the primary long term need for education. Education will provide a means of support "up and out" of the poverty cycle in Guatemala. So it is with social responsibility, and economic and environmental improvement in mind the NGOs with different backgrounds have joined together to accomplish change and make a difference for the environment locally and globally.
