Regardless of your payment method be sure to:

  • Mention "Trees for Global Renewal"

  • Leave your full mailing address for income tax purposes

  • Provide an email address or phone number where you can be reached

 

 

Your donations will pay to:

  • grow or purchase seedlings locally  

  • planting seedlings on deforested land

  • ensure complete stocking following initial planting

 

Reforestation efforts are currently being directed into “Reservation of Biosphere Sierra of the Mines”  which is located north east of Guatemala City.

Families and students will benefit through the donation of food packets and donations to ENDAC schools or the William Cornelius Vocational Training Center in Guatemala.

All donations are appreciated, however we prefer individual or group donations of C$1,000 to reforest a full hectare (2.47 acres). 

Donors/Donor Groups will each receive in appreciation:
For funding the reforestation of 2 or more hectares in one year:
Corporate or private donations to reforest multiple hectares 

  • A framed Reforestation Certificate

  • An income tax deductible receipt

  • A picture of the student or students receiving benefits through your donation.

  • An Invitation to tour the planting site and have your picture taken with a tree planter. Trees for Global Renewal will provide round trip transportation from Guatemala City to the site and back to Guatemala City. (All other travel costs, flight, accommodation and meals are the responsibility of the donor.)

For funding the reforestation of 1 hectare:
Individual or group  donations to reforest 1 hectare (C$1,000)

  • A frame-able Reforestation Certificate

  • An income tax deductible receipt

  • A picture of the student or students receiving benefits through your donation.

For funding the reforestation of partial hectares:
Donations
$50 to $999

  • A "Thank You" picture of the current William Cornelius Vocational Training Center student body

  • An income tax deductible receipt

Donations of $10 to $49 will receive an appreciation card and an income tax deductible receipt.
